Classes are taught by trained Suzuki Early Childhood Educators

Andrea Cannon studied Guitar Performance at Berklee College of Music. She learned about the Suzuki Method through her son's piano study and went on to train as a Suzuki Guitar Instructor.  Her Suzuki guitar studio is one of the largest in the country and she is also columnist for the American Suzuki Journal. She is a Certified Teacher-Trainer with the Suzuki Association of the Americas as well as a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in the Music Teachers National Association.

Andrea received her Suzuki Early Childhood education through studies with Dorothy Jones, who pioneered the "Baby Music" curriculum in Canada.

Andrea is the proud mom of two grown children who are both fine musicians.

Maryanna Cannon graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy from Sam Houston State University in May, 2005. She begins a Music Therapy Internship with The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research in Houston this October. After her internship she plans on working with special needs patients and children.

Maryanna received her Suzuki Early Childhood education through studies with Dorothy Jones, who pioneered the "Baby Music" curriculum in Canada. She sang with the Klein High School Choir and the Region 9 Choir for four years, as well as the Texas All State Choir for one year. Maryanna also spent two years in the vocal program at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She has studied voice under Jody Miller, Cyndi LeForce, Dr. Tim Seelig, and Barbara Corbin.

Early Childhood classes are taught by a team of two teachers at one time.  All of our instructors have received special training in Suzuki Early Childhood methods and are Registered Teachers with the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
